Can we just talk about how important it was that Ichabod came back for Abbie?

Like.. all too often black women are caught up in this ‘strong, independent, don’t need no man’ trope and are forced to figure out how to get out of horrible circumstances by themselves. Or hell, sometimes they are even forgotten.

Any other TV show would’ve had Abbie out there…

Théoden: Simbelmynë. Ever has it grown on the tombs of my forebears. Now it shall cover the grave of my son. Alas, that these evil days shall be mine. The young perish and the old linger. That I should live to see the last days of my house.

Gandalf: Théodred’s death was not of your making.

Théoden: No parent should have to bury their child.

Gandalf: He was strong in life, his spirit will find its way to the halls of your fathers. Westu hál. Ferðu, Théodred. Ferðu.

'Tableau de Chasse' // Hunting bag

I started watching Hannibal again, and I wanted to draw a panel of some of Hannibal’s ‘victims’. The french expression ‘tableau de chasse’ seemed to fit perfectly with Hannibal, since it litteraly translates to ‘Hunt painting’ in english. Quite elegant, don’t you think ?

(Oh by the way this was totally inspired by paticmak because her hannibal art is the best)

"It was exciting and just a major, major compliment…I was happy for all the girls who would see me on [it] and feel a little more seen." - Lupita Nyong’o on being named People Magazine’s Most Beautiful

And the Waltz Goes On - Anthony Hopkins

Sir Anthony Hopkins Hears The Waltz He Wrote 50 Years Ago For The First Time

Academy Award-winning actor Sir Anthony Hopkins was a musician before he got into acting. 50 years ago he wrote a waltz but was too afraid to ever hear it play. Dutch violinist André Rieu performs it for the very first time. Watch Hopkins’ reaction.

That was beautiful

I cried a few tears and felt better about humanity’s endeavors.

((listen with headphones please))

I’m dedicating this cover to allison argent, because she was a warrior princess until the very end and I’m still in shock that she’s really gone. I’m going to miss her so much.

I love books and going to bookstores. My favorite sound is the sound of the needle hitting the record.
